![]() LEARN to read the Tarot Cards. This 10 hour course covers The Major and Minor Arcana and the 'Fool's Journey" which is basically a map of the journey every person takes in their life, similar to philosopher Joseph Campbell's archetypal "Heroes Journey" where everyone (who is a hero or fool in their own life) learns lessons as they go along. In the Tarot, the Major Arcana marks the passages of this journey, which is reflected in the cards that are drawn for the individual at any and every moment in their life. YOU will learn the chronological and developmental stages of this journey, which is really never ending until we die. YOU will learn different ways to assimilate card meanings without the use of memory. This will involve Tarot card dream incubation, and meditation among other things. YOU will also learn the 3 modalities of reading Tarot; Symbolism, Color, and Number meanings. At the end of the course YOU will know how to do 1, 3 and 5 card readings, general, past, present, future, mind, body, spirit, and yes/no readings. You will learn to read comment cards and learn little tricks to understand the message of the cards more clearly. There will also be practice amongst yourselves where you will be able to lay your foundation and measure your improvement. When: March 2nd & 3rd, 2013 from Noon to 5:00 P.M. Where: Calder House Bed and Breakfast - Steinbach, MB Cost: $260.00 (cash or check) RSVP: space is limited, must rsvp your seat - reservations@calderhealinghouse.com or 204-326-1837 What is included: 10 hours of course time, practice time, book, handouts, Rider-Waite Tarot deck, tea/coffee/water, snacks

This course is an investment in skills that will last a lifetime and pay off down the road. With tarot skills a student can supplement their income easily with doing one on one personal readings, parties and street fairs and other community events. The last two tarot parties I did I made $500 and $300 at respectively in one night, cash in hand, no taxes. The average party yields about $250 for a few hours work. The average street fair can yield about $100-$200 per day, more if its a weekend or a week long event such as a summer festival.
